Together with members of international organizations, governments, the private sector, civil society and the media of the region, it seeks to identify common challenges and successful experiences. It will sustain a day of work divided into two major moments: one devoted to three high-level panels where representatives of governments, private sector, civil society, media and international organizations will review the present and future of open data fighting against corruption, emphasizing the actions the Americas should take. This discussion aims to address the role of technologies, multisectoral collaboration and public-private partnerships in the Democratic Governance agenda and the fight against corruption.  The event is held as a prelude to the declaration of the Heads of State of the  Americas that will call for the use of open data to combat corruption in the Americas.
